This site is an exploration of the holistic nature of healing – some of it well-established, some little-explored – and consciousness as its necessary bedfellow.
It's a look at the fields of illness and fields of healing themselves.
It's an examination of traditional healing systems, and of the consciousnesses that created them.
It's an adventure into modern mind shifts, which includes the rise of luminary healers and thinkers, along with the fragmentation of our worldview, society, and bodies.
It's an acknowledgment of the myriad nameless healers and thinkers who didn't receive credit for their contributions to the field, because of who they were in the context of patriarchy and colonialism. I will attempt to give voice to the underrepresented as much as I can in these pages. The social and political aspects of healing cannot be ignored, and will be given attention here.
This work is an attempt to distill healing into its most essential, yet comprehensive aspects. If one were to reverse-engineer a system of healing (which, in our post-modern reality, I see many people trying to do for themselves), what is the minimum that must be covered – and what are the elements that must not be left out?
This is ultimately an attempt at a Unified Field Theory of Healing, which I realize sounds like it must be created by someone with some serious hubris and/or delusions of grandeur, but it's really meant as to be ongoing exploration and conversation. There are as many ways to heal as there are things to be healed. This is not meant to be a comprehensive catalog of modalities, but rather an exploration of broad-strokes frameworks, as well as an exploration into the nature of illness.
This website is a living document that will be updated perennially. It will grow along with new education and experience, and will evolve along with our collective consciousness.
